Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party!

Grab your friends and be the first to sign up for our Teen Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 7th at 1 p.m. at the West River Branch of the Elyria Public Library System. We’ll have crafts and entertainment between 1 and 4 p.m.

The first 35 teens who sign up at West River will receive a goody bag and are well on their way to earning tickets into our prize drawings. This year our prizes include a Galaxy Tablet, Target Gift Card, Amazon Gift Card, Gift Certificate to the Atlas Cinemas Midway Movie Theater, and the Divergent Trilogy Box Set.

Are you thinking about summer yet? Of course you are. Sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program at any of the EPLS branches starting June 7th. If you read 5 books, you’ll have a chance to win a prize…like a tablet, Amazon Gift Card, Target Gift Card, Divergent Trilogy, and more.

Don’t know what hoopla is? Well hoopla is another digital service the library now offers. Visit our website and click hoopla on the right side. Here with your library card and email address you can sign up for streaming movies, TV shows, music, and audiobooks. You can check out 10 per month. Stop by your branch for more details!
